The Hygge House-walk to town

Very nice 3 bdr dome close to Bridgton which is a beautiful quaint town, and also to a small beach on a lake. The house was very comfortable and well stocked, and the property manager living right across the street was a big plus

The house was very clean and close to downtown. The host was very responsive and helpful.

My husband grew up on Pleasant street, as did his father. In fact, this house used to belong to a cousin back in the 30s. So it was really cool to stay here almost a hundred years later! The fenced in backyard was perfect for our pup, the kitchen had all the basics we needed, and the sofa was very comfortable. The record collection and record player were a nice touch. Upstairs, we used two of the three bedrooms. Beds are comfortable, a bit on the firm side. The AC units were able to keep up on the 90 degree days. While it would have been nice to have two bathrooms, it was perfectly fine for our family. Thanks Carl and Maddie for letting us stay in your adorable house! And thanks, Nadine for being so on top of everything!

Hygge House was perfect for our weekend! Nadine is a great host- attentive and available. We will be back!!

My husband and I stayed here with my adult daughter for an extended weekend and ended up wishing we could stay longer. The house is wonderful. We walked to the Saturday farmer's market and the various downtown shops. Maine Express is a stone's throw away perfect to pick up lobster or other seafood for dinner or to grab an exceptional lobster roll. The house had everything we could have needed: logs for the firepit, smores sticks, towels for the lake, tons of bath towels and washer and dryer, games, coffee, netflix. Add to that the property manager lives across the street and she was super responsive. I am sure we will stay here again!
